Ngaruroro River South Bank Single Track

Single track trails on the south bank of the Ngaruroro River in Hawkes Bay, from the Waitangi Bridge just out of Clive up to Maraekakaho.

This track includes sections of tight single track, some fallen tree to hop, some gravel haul road where the single track hasn't been developed yet, and fisherman's 4wd tracks in the lower reaches of the river. A nice mix of different types of riding for your dirt bike. Downstream of Fernhill there is a gravel haul road running adjacent to the single track, so if you need a break just hop onto to the gravel for a breather or to find the nearest stopbank access.

There is a small stream crossing about 3km downstream from Maraekakaho. It is usually running low enough to cross, unless it has been raining recently.
