Adventure Details
A collection of gravel road tracks in the Tararua district from Te Uri in the North, to Castle Hill in the South, between the Tararua and Ruahine Ranges to the Akitio coast. This is by no means as exhaustive list, but I will endevour to continue adding to it.
Please note that North Range Rd, Puketoi Rd, Makairo Track, Ridge Rd South have been added to this network for completeness sake. For significant portions of their length they are unmaintained roads, and depending on their state of repair and recent weather conditions they can be G3 or G4. North Range and Puketoi are 4wd tracks, Makairo is single track, Ridge South is a grassy paper road. There are interesting gravels roads at each end, so worth an explore to the limits of your ability.
