I rode this today with a buddy, both of us on 890s. The bouldery climbs were pretty challenging on big bikes. Pick good lines and keep your momentum up! I'd call that section D4 for sure. Spring rains have washed away much of the soil leaving nothing but rocks, rocks and more rocks! Some sort of alternate route back to Vernon from Kelowna would be the cherry on top!

We did the route starting in the North Vernon side and coming out near Big White. The first third was twisty fun fsrs that get you up out of the valley and onto the plateau with all its lakes D2 for me. The middle third through Graystokes Park is what looks like an old wagon trail full of chonk sustained D3. Some of the bouldery hillclimbs I would say entered a D4 for me. However I am still gaining perspective with the rating system for my 690. Ground clearance is a must on this section. The last third is a windy fsr descent with great views of the Joe Rich Valley. This route was a good challenge for us as we find where we fit in the rating system. Good feeling of accomplishment getting it done. Door to door took us just under 6hrs.

This is a great trail, but you do have to do some blacktop to get there. Once there, I think you will agree it was worth the commute. The middle section is a sustained D3. Lots of baby-head rocks, mud, and roots. Woot!

This is a pretty cool trail once into the thick of it. The bugs can get kinda bad if you have a mechanical issue and then the return trip is a bit less exciting.
