KBDR - Day 1 leaving K-Town

Total: 342km (TMA)
We were planning to ride the north section of the Okanagan BDR, but due to the fire at the end of Mabel, and seeing Scott’s ride on YT, decided to attempt (at least part of) the Kootenay BDR. We had 4 days; so a bit ambitious.
Didn’t feel like staying long at Catherine Lake:

So we pushed on to Shelter Bay.
Route:
- Phillpot, Aberdeen, Hwy 6
- Edgewood (fuel & tacos)
- Whatshan lake (go past the resort and immediate right over the dam)
- Westside of Arrow lake
- Shelter Bay
Missed the 7pm ferry
Stayed at Shelter Bay campground (meh)
