We started the ride on a route a friend shared with me. A mix of FSR and some nice double track leading to James lake.
I wanted to take E to Postill and beyond, but wanted to avoid the mud pits, however, in usual `me` fashion, I led us exactly where I didn’t want to be. It was a slippery, mucky challenge (sorry, no photos of this part), but we made it through without too much trouble.
E did pretty darn good. There is an improvement after grizzbait for sure, and that 390 was slipping quite a bit in the muck. It had a couple of dirt (or mud) naps, but no injuries and they were all slow speed, low consequence situations.
The fall colours are out and in spectacular fashion, so get out there!
