Day two. Well, the inReach was 100% worth the money, since I woke up to a message for the wife that our travel plans to Barkerville were cancelled--damn fires!
I had a leisurely breakfast and some nice pour-over camp coffee before heading into Town to have a call with the wife, where we planned to change the family camping destinations to Otter lake or similar.
With considerable freedom, and no real plan except head towards Princeton, I had more fun with the new GPS routing through King Eddy all the way to Hwy 33 and then pounded a bunch of pavement the long way around to Osoyoos. As I rode on, I was enjoying covering ground and sweating myself to death in my Revit Sand 4 gear--I decided to keep moving (and getting airflow) and pushed through right to Princeton. Well, Princeton is pretty close to home, so I made it back in time for dinner! :P
Time to hit the moto store and get myself some more off-road oriented gear for hot weather!
