Adventure Details
This is a private farm track through MacDonald Downs farm at the North end of Lees Valley that is a shortcut through to the back of Hawarden/Waikari or Amberley. It is a well formed gravel track through a typical North Canterbury hill country farm. It turns off Okuku Pass Rd just North of the Okuku River crossing, where the road emerges from the foothillls that form Lees Valley.
Access is usually weekends only, when it doesn't interfere with farming operations. Contact Liz on 033134275 or 0274756008 for permission. Cost is $10 per bike, and sign in at the office at the Hawarden end of the farm.
